This last week was pretty good!  We met this Asian man on the street. He speaks French, but not a whole lot, and pretty much no English at all so it was difficult to communicate with him. But he wanted to give us his phone number so he did. Then later we called and set up an appointment somehow to meet at the train station a few days later. We met him there and he brought a friend with him, who also knew little French and even less English. We took the tram from the station to the church and then we taught a very simple lesson about prayer. They liked it a lot! (still have to kind of work out the differences between God and Buddha... but its fine) then after, they invited us to come to their house and meet all of their families!! It was pretty cool. The two guys each have a wife and 2 young kids, so 8 people in total! It’s actually rare here to find a husband and wife (married) with 2 kids. And they're all really, really nice. So hopefully things go really well with them. They're all from Mongolia which is pretty cool!

I don’t think the Olympics are really a huge deal here. I haven’t seen any ads or anything about it anywhere. But there is this one guy who we are kind of teaching that just wants to watch the Olympics the whole time we are trying to teach him. He told us that the Olympics interest him more than us talking about our church so we'll see how much longer we'll be seeing him... haha kidding.. I did happen to see from being at his house, they were just doing coverage over the French athletes, obviously. And a couple of days ago, we were waiting for some pizza we ordered at a pizza place and the room was playing the Olympics on TV. They were showing England vs. Switzerland in women's Curling. I know about that person from Orem in the Olympics who placed 2nd in the Women’s Skeleton. She went to Lakeridge Jr. High and she spoke at an assembly when I was there.

So in the morning it’s hard to work out because we're in a really tiny apartment and its cold and dark in the morning, and I just don’t ever feel like going out and running. It’s a whole lot easier to work out when you live in a 4-man apartment but I'll try to start running because the weather is actually pretty good now. It was too hot to wear a coat today, and everyone is just sitting outside at the many outdoor cafés.
